"24" Original Painting

Kobe Bryant. The Black Mamba. Although he is iconic for multiple numbers, I chose to go with 24. For the 2, I chose to depict his iconic fadeaway, the posture of which fit perfectly in the number’s shape. For the 4, I chose a dynamic pose of Kobe dunking. Sadly Kobe passed away in 2020 along with his daughter, Gianna. Kobe was a big part of my childhood and I loved watching him play.
